Camp Quest Ontario (CQO) is the first and only summer camp in Canada for the children of atheists/agnostics, humanists and skeptics.
CQO was founded in 2005 by the Society of Ontario Freethinkers and is supported by Humanist Canada, the Institute for Humanist Studies, as well as various regional humanist groups across North America.
Campers have a fantastically fun time as they boost their critical thinking skills by playing logic games, debating, code breaking, and learning about evolution and the scientific method. Humanist values such as rationality, ethics, dignity, fairness, equality, and respect for people, animals, and the environment, form an integral part of our unique camp. Cool crafts, interactive games and workshops, field trips, sports and other fun outdoor activities, round out our curriculum to give our young thinkers an intellectually stimulating environment and excellent opportunities for learning, self-discovery, socializing and lasting friendships.
CQO’s strategic partner is Camp Quest Inc., an independent educational not-for-profit organization that operates the Camp Quest Ohio and works to coordinate with and support other independently-run Camp Quest programs, including Camp Quest Ontario.
